The Activist and the Officer, and the way we still are

So, I’m a hopeless romantic, fan of the fabulous Redford/Streisand 1973, The Way We Were, and will be married to my “Hubbell” 40 years this June. Whew. Speak about hard work ! The difference between “Katie” and me? Probably NOW? I guess I was just too secure in letting a man define me, but it did make me happy ! Hillary survived her bumps too 🙂

For fun, and for my daughter, another brilliant, passionate, independent thinking entrepreneur under 30, “KT”, here’s why each generation of being in love/finding the right guy/losing that guy/maybe finding him again will never change, and why the power is you !

~spoiler alert~ This is the last scene of The Way We Were, if you don’t want to know, don’t hit play 🙂

…but if you’ve seen this clip for Sex and the City, you already know the ending..

….and if you’ve seen both, I’m preaching to the choir. Just hope SATC2 doesn’t disappoint !
