Still #winning, but watch out for your nose!
I ♡ this lady!! She should be the keynote speaker at the Republican convention… or maybe the nominee…
Bob ! I love your blog. Always brings me a smile. I’m starting to think, we should xpost our posts to Polination ? So behind all the time, still want to ask you about your secret to morning glories. My favorite annual and I fail miserably every year 😦
Denise- I LOVE this video!
And who says morning glories are annuals lol? I planted some one year and they just keep coming back! We have wild ones all over the field- a white variety.
You have to knick the seed and soak them overnight to get them started.
PMM, I think I’m in the morning glory DMZ 🙂 Bob’s great tribute to her glory success was my inspiration for the shout out. I can’t get them to grow in coastal Virginia, much less come back each year. My dd’s in NYC, and her’s grow out of the cement cracks of her Brooklyn neighborhood.

hmmm- should be able to grow them there. I will have to investigate. Will let you know if I find anything.
I don’t do anything special… I buy the plants at the plant nursery, put them in large pots out on my deck (which is on the south side of the house, so it gets lots of sun), then keep them watered. I train the vines to grow up the upright rails and then outwards along the top rails. (If you don’t train the vines, you end up with a tangled mess.) Every once in a while I mix a little Miracle Grow in the water — about 1/4 tsp. of MG to a gallon of water — and pour it on. I think they must really like the Wisconsin climate or something, because I’ve gotten excellent results without a lot of fuss and bother.
