It’s not you, it’s me. For as long as I can remember you only support women on the left? You know, the Dancing Vaginas, Punch-that-card-Hillary-until-Obama-was-the-chosen-one, Sandra-astroturf-Fluke and your deafening silence on the Gosnell Torture Chamber for poor minority women. Yeah, for starters. You are part of the reason I left the left. Hypocrisy makes my head hurt. Your support of whatever Obama supports makes my head explode. But hey, keeping women stupid and on your side is all that matters, right? Send me a sign, pressure Obama to stop supporting icky rapey men with our tax money, here and in any other country we “aid”. You just might win me back.

Why NOT Camp David ?

While the bitter clingers (me included) are going verklempt that the Obamas are rumored to be spending an entire summer at a 1%er favorite squatting area, Martha’s Vineyard, may I ask, what’s wrong with Camp David ?

Snow, Snow, SNOW … But Wait……

If you grew up in the 50’s, this was the anthem for the PERFECT Christmas Season. And if you survived the 60’s to ’10’s, the reality may have set in….be careful what you wish for. This is the funniest tribute to snow I’ve ever read, so let me take you through the steps…h/t to a Southerner Moving North…..

JAN 10 5:00 PM. It’s starting to snow. The first snow of the season and

the first one we’ve seen in years. The wife and I took our hot buttered

rums and sat by the picture window, watching the soft flakes drift down,

clinging to the trees and covering the ground. It was beautiful!

Jan 11 We awoke to a lovely blanket of crystal white covering the

landscape. What a fantastic sight. Every tree and shrub covered with a

beautiful white mantle. I shoveled snow for the first time in years, and

loved it. I did both our driveway and our sidewalk. Later a city

snowplow came along and accidentally covered up our driveway with

compacted snow from the street. The driver smiled and waved. I waved

back and shoveled it again.

Jan 12 It snowed an additional 5 inches last night and the temperature has

dropped to about 11 degrees. Several limbs on the trees and shrubs

snapped due to the weight of the snow. I shoveled our driveway again.

Shortly afterwards, the snowplow came by and did his trick again. Much of

the snow is now brownish-gray.

Jan 13 Warmed up enough during the day to create some slush which soon

became ice when the temperature dropped again. Bought snow tires for both

cars. Fell on my ass in the driveway. $145 to a chiropractor, but

nothing was broken. More snow and ice expected.

Jan 14 Still cold. Sold the wife’s car and bought a 4×4 in order to get

to work. Slid into a guardrail anyway, and did considerable amounts of

damage to the right quarter panel. Had another 8 inches of the white shit

last night. Both vehicles covered in salt and crud. More shoveling in

store for me today. That goddamn snowplow came by twice today.

Jan 15 2 degrees outside. More fuckin’ snow. Not a tree or shrub on our

property that hasn’t been damaged. Power was off most of the night.

Tried to keep from freezing to death with candies and a kerosene heater,

which tipped over and nearly burned the house down. I managed to put the

flames out but suffered 2nd degree burns on my hands and lost all my

eyelashes and eyebrows. 4×4 slid on the ice on the way to the

emergency-room and was totaled.

Jan 16 Goddamn mother fuckin’ white shit keeps coming down. Have to put

all the clothes on we own just to get to the fuckin’ mailbox. If I ever

catch that son-of-a-bitch that drives the snowplow I’ll chew open his

chest and rip out his heart. I think he hides around the corner and waits

to plow shut our driveway again. Power still off. Toilet froze and part

of the roof has started to cave in.

Jan 17 Six goddamn more fuckin’ inches of fuckin’ snow and fuckin’

sleet, fuckin’ ice and goddamn knows what other kind of white fuckin’

shit fell last night. I wounded the fuckin’ snowplow asshole with an ice

axe, but he got away. Wife left me. Car won’t start. I think I’m going

snowblind. I can’t move my toes. Haven’t seen the sun in weeks. More

snow predicted. Wind Chill -22 fuckin’ degrees. I’m moving back to

I swear, I’m not going to lose my sense of political humor….

I love good politcal humor and Jimmy Fallon’s still funny. I don’t think he LOST the Emmy over Jon Stewart this year because he’s too fair and balanced funny, IMHO, he was right. Errr, right? Loved this, reminded me when SNL was funny too!

Welcome to my Worrrrrld, Embassy bombings since ’83

This is what a 43+ year marriage looks like during election season. Bad enough he’s Red Sox, I’m Yankees. He’s Patriots, I’m Jets. He’s a Marine combat veteran, I’m a peacenik.

But since 2008, and the hell that was the Democratic Party, I joined Team Husband on Team Politics. Obama must be defeated.

Maybe it was the death of Ambassador Stevens that I finally understood Obama was a dirtbag scuzzball. My husband was in charge of security for the Beirut Embassy after the Marine Barracks bombing. It was the Reagan era, maybe not the best of times, my husband was ordered to not let the troops put rounds in their chambers. He defied that order to protect his troops, Ambassador protested, Reagan pulled the troops out, the Embassy was attacked shortly thereafter. Crikesy, why my husband didn’t make General of the Worrrrld.

I love my husband, he loved me unconditionally during our political differences over the years, but I worry when he tells me Obama will win again. It’s the all about the Caliphate, the haters, the people sucking at our government titties, the lucky immigrants to latch on to those goverment titties, the lucky Democrats to latch on to my titties.

Carry on 🙂

Fair Tax, Fair Tax, Fair Tax

I don’t know why our federal government doesn’t seriously consider’s simple solution about paying our fair share ? America faces one of the greatest perils to her future: our broken economic engine. A simple tune-up won’t fix the problem. The FairTax would fuel economic growth, investment, and job creation throughout the nation. Learn why the FairTax will fuel our economic engine and create jobs.

Why I Call Myself a Romney Democrat

Let’s start with a couple of illustrations, this…

….and this…

My love of politics started as a child and exchanging birthday cards with President Eisenhower, we shared a birth date. Every year I’d buy him a card, scribble Happy Birthday, Your Birth DAY Buddy, Denise and mail it. A few days later, I’d receive a card, totally preprinted and auto-penned, but I still proudly displayed it with the others. It wasn’t until years later I would appreciate that small gesture from the White House staff. Never once was asked for $3.OO or MY birthday presents.

JFK made me a Democrat. He entered the Presidential race as I entered high school and I just loved everything Camelot-y about the Kennedy family. Sadly, we never found out how the world would have turned out had he never been assassinated, but it moved me to political activism (ironically, first as a staffer for a Republican Member of the House shortly after dropping out of college).

Then came love, marriage and the baby carriage x3, so my political hobby became complicated being married to an active duty Marine and the dratted UCMJ, my mouth was duct taped for several years.

Still loved my Dems, Carter, Clinton …. then came the Political Petri-Dish Experiment failure called Obama. There is nothing traditionaly, spiritualy, compassionately or NICE about him (see: Hillary Clinton and her supporters/PUMAs) to support.

I now support Romney Democrats
