ANNANDALE, Va. – The wife of Vice President Joe Biden is continuing her teaching career at a community college in the Washington area.
According to the vice president’s office, Dr. Jill Biden returned to teaching on Tuesday as an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College. She will be teaching two English classes this semester.
Biden says she is thrilled to return to the classroom. She has been a teacher for more than 28 years in Delaware, including 15 years teaching English composition at Delaware Technical and Community College. She previously worked as a reading specialist and English teacher in Delaware public schools.
Biden holds two master’s degrees in English and reading and earned a doctorate in education in 2007 from the University of Delaware. Her dissertation was focused on how to retain students in community colleges.
Well, this will leave little time for talk shows 🙂
