I thought Sarah Palin was irrelevant ? Not according to the editors at The Nation, guess they’re a little bored with The Messiah too. Our country’s circling the drain and this is all they got?

Going Rouge is compiled by Richard Kim and Betsy Reed, two top editors of the left-leaning weekly The Nation, and includes essays by Nation regulars like Katrina vanden Heuvel, Naomi Klein, and Katha Pollitt. It’s the first release from OR Books, a fledgling outfit founded earlier this year by publishing veterans John Oakes and Colin Robinson that “embraces progressive change in politics, culture and the way we do business,”

Ralph Nader, Remember HIM ? I do….

He was right before, saved a generation of lives, yada, yada, yada….but I have a gut feeling, he’s right again…think about it 🙂

Oh yeah, The Single Payer Taboo. What’s that? He’s still NUTZ? Riiiiight.

Among the giant taboos afflicting Congress these days is the proposal to create a single payer health insurance system (often called full Medicare for everyone).

How can this be? Don’t the elected politicians represent the people? Don’t they always have their finger to the wind?

Well, single payer is only supported by a majority of the American people, physicians and nurses. They like the idea of public funding and private delivery. They like the free choice of doctors and hospitals that many are now denied by the HMOs…..and there’s more….
